Application process for Grades 2-11

• Complete one application form for each applicant in grades 2 through 11.  The admission to Kindergarten and Grade 1 involves a different process.  (check the Kindergarten/Grade 1 procedures form admissions)
• Review “Requirements for Admission” to verify that the student in question meet all criteria for application.
• Submit to each section Principal a copy of the applicant’s cumulative or final grades.  All grades must be 70% or above in previous coursework, otherwise the student will not be considered for the admissions process.
• Complete the entire application packet. This includes:

          For Grades 2-11:

• Duly-completed “Admissions Form”  (required)
• Completed “Recommendation Form” by the applicant’s present school (required)

           For all students Kindergarten to Grade 11:

• Copy of most recent report card or transcript showing cumulative grades obtained (required Grade 2-11).
• Copy of birth certificate or passport (required); local students must turn in original birth certificate.
• One recent passport-sized photo (required)
• Solvency letter (required for students in private schools)
• Reports of standardized test scores [required for students (Grade 2-11) in schools with American system]
• Copies of certificates or awards received (suggested)

         For students Grade 2-11

• Contact each Section Principal and/or visit the Early Childhood Admissions site.  This meeting will allow you the opportunity to submit the completed application packet and to ask further questions about the School and/or the admissions process.  (Families not yet living in Guatemala may postpone the interview until a later date).
• Section Principals will then review your application.  If the student meets all criteria for admission, you will be contacted and asked to schedule a date for entrance examinations.
• On the scheduled test date, both parent and student should come to the School.  Payment of the testing fee per applicant is required at that time.
• You will be informed of the Admissions Committee’s decision within a short period of time.
