CAG Sends out a Special thanks to all the students, teachers, staff and parents of the community who made our Independence Week of Celebrations a grand success!

TNT Britain is Back! by Kim Pivaral
Come and enjoy an evening of drama starring Shakespeare's most famous plays, Romeo and Juliet, scheduled for Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 pm in the MacVean Auditorium on the CAG campus.  The performance is in English and will last approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes including a short intermission. 
Middle School curriculum introduces Shakespeare in the 8th grade, and HS students study the play Romeo and Juliet in 9th grade.  I understand that this is a school night, but I encourage you to come out and bring your son or daughter to enjoy this performance.
All CAG students will only be charged Q75 entrance instead of the Q100 regular admission!
Parking will be available opposite the school's campus.  The tickets price is Q100 for the general public with pre-sale starting Friday, September 18th in the cashier’s office on campus! Any questions, feel free to contact me at 2369-0791 or by email at kkpivaral@gmail.com

¡Bevienidos a Escuela Para Padres! por Stefania de Rodríguez
Queridos padres de familia,  queremos aprovechar esta oportunidad para contarles lo que tenemos preparado para este ciclo escolar en Escuela para Padres. Nuestro objetivo es promover el crecimiento de los padres de familia del colegio, ofreciéndoles herramientas que los apoyen en el desarrollo del área emocional y social de sus hijos, a través de  conferencias dictadas por especialistas en los diferentes temas que se abarcan.  Trabajamos de la mano con las orientadoras y directores de cada sección tratando de ofrecer respuesta a los temas que ellos perciben como de mayor necesidad entre los alumnos.
Este año contamos con el apoyo de Boston Clinical Consulting, cuyo equipo incluye consultores expertos, radicados en Estados Unidos, y que vendrán a ofrecer las distintas conferencias.  Los temas de las conferencias son:

Calling all CAG Parents! Edline Workshops Begin Next Month! by Claudia Estrada
If you are a new parent or one of returning veterans and are interested in learning more about CAG’s internal communication system, come to one of the Edline training workshops our Technology Department will host in the Library’s Multipurpose Room:
Oct. 2:  7:30 - 8:30am (Spanish Session)
Oct 2:  1:00- 2:00pm (English Session)
Oct. 7: 2:00-3:00pm (Spanish Session)
Oct. 7: 5:30- 6:30pm (Spanish Session)
CAG adopted password protected site as a one of our main communications tools for grades, classroom information, section updates, etc. 

Congratulations the new NJHS members
On Friday, September 18, 27 Middle School students became new members of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS).  National Junior Honor Society is a worldwide organization that consists of many chapters in Middle Schools from grade 6-8. Selection is based on five criteria: citizenship, service, leadership, scholarship and character. Members must maintain a high grade point average and become good citizens by participating in service projects.  CAG is proud your achievement!
