| General Kindergarten Admissions Procedures |

Parents may make an appointment to visit the school. We recommend that you wait until your child is three years old.

Apply between February and April, one and one half years before anticipated entry. (Check Kindergarten Admission Calendar for specific dates.)

A non-refundable application fee, the Application Form, Parent Questionnaire, and Letter of Solvency must be submitted by the last day of application in April.

The initial selection of students, who will continue in the admissions process, will be made by the Admissions Committee, based upon established criteria.

All applicant families will be informed by letter in August (the year before entry), if their child will continue in the selection process or not.

Please be advised that no additional feedback will be given.

Children, who were not selected, may stay on our waiting list for possible future consideration. Parents must inform the Early Childhood section, in writing or email, if they wish to have their child’s name on the waitlist.

Regrettably, we cannot accept all children who apply.

Parents, whose children have been selected to continue in the admission’s process (into the screening phase), should download the Pre-School/School Recommendation Form as well as the most recent Report Card, which must be submitted by fax from the pre-school/school, or in a SEALED envelope by the end of October.

A non-refundable screening fee will be paid by mid-September.

In October, there will be an information meeting for parents, regarding the screening process.

Children will participate in a screening session one morning in mid-January, for possible entry in August.

Families will be informed in early February, if their child has been selected for entry into CAG or not.

- At this point, parents, whose children have been selected for admissions, will begin to pay the matricula fee, which can be paid in one payment or in three payments due in February, March, and April.
- CAG Enrollment forms must be submitted in May.
- It is recommended that students attend Kindergarten Prep Program (Summer School), beginning the last week in June ending mid July.
- A fee for the Kindergarten Prep Program (Summer School) will be paid in May.
- Students will begin Kindergarten mid August. (Check website for exact dates.)
