| You must
use a table with borders, different font styles, and a bullet list. The page
can be in landscape or portrait form. You can see some examples in
the Resources page of the project.

Week 2 - MS Word |
| Open the following Word document and save it in your computer.
Use that file and
modify it following the
MLA format for research papers.
Cite the source information correctly following
the
Bibliography guide.
Format the document or make the changes needed to show the correct way to present a research paper.

Week 3 - MS Excel |
| Open the
file
Go for fun.xls and solve it. It is a workbook with 3
worksheets: Instructions, Formulas and Answers. Follow
instructions in the first worksheet Instructions, make your operations
in the Formulas worksheet and write your answers in the Answers
worksheet. Use them to do the assignment.

Week 4 - MS
Excel |
| Open the
file
Scores.xls and solve it. It is another workbook with
the 3
worksheets: Instructions, Formulas and Answers.

Week 5 - Educational Software |
| With the
assistance of the Integration Specialist or your technology teacher, visit the section computer lab and find the educational software available for your subject or
classroom.
Review and evaluate the software completing the
Software Evaluation Form (handwriting or on the computer).
Print it and save it for later use.

Week 6 - MS Internet Explorer |
| Choose a
topic from your next trimester curriculum. Once you have your topic, read
the
Five Criteria for evaluation Web pages
because you are going to search and evaluate some WebPages.
To do your research on Internet, you can use
some recommended search engines available in the Resources page.
Find 3 to 5 websites that meet your requirements and complete the
Web page Evaluation Form.
Once you selected the best websites (the ones that
have more points after the evaluation), save them under Favorites for
later use.

Week 7 - MS Power Point |
| Prepare a
technology enhanced lesson for the topic you selected on the last
assignment. That lesson should include a Multimedia
presentation that you will use to explain a topic.
Use the websites that you selected on your last assignment and collect
information and pictures for your presentation.
The presentation must include:
- Design Template
- Title Slide with the author name, date,
subject, etc.
- Table of Contents Slide
- At least one slide per subtopic with a balanced
use of Text & Images
- Slide Transitions
- Bibliography

Week 8 - Finish your
assignments |
| If you
have any unfinished assignments, use this week to do them.
If not, CONGRATULATIONS!! You finished
your first Technology for Teachers Project.
