Week 1 & 2 - How to use
Microsoft Windows Movie Maker |
|
Movie Maker is an excellent easy to use movie making program. You can
use it to edit audio and video sequences from sources such as
camcorders, digital cameras and trailers.
You
can open Movie Maker
program by clicking Start, pointing to All Programs, and then
clicking Windows Movie Maker.
Choose one of these videos below and save it in your computer.
Go to Movie Maker program and open the trailer.
Start using the trailer by making video editions, changing the sound in order to practice the basic Movie Maker
commands.

Week 3 & 4 - Create a simple
CAG clip |
|
In this section you will find a video from the school, save it in your computer, select differents
school areas and make simple clips from the captured video using Movie
Maker program.
Go to Movie Maker program and follow the movie tasks.
- Capture video (import video)
- Edit movie (effects and transitions)
- Finish movie (save movie file)
- You can use Movie Making Tips to support your
project.
Start using the CAG video by editing the sound (you
must use a microphone and talk about something, optional you can
insert the music of your preference), adding effects and making video
editions.
The final step is to save every clip that you create
using the Save Movie File option with the High
quality video (large) option.
Duration of the video: at least 2 min.

Week 5
& 6 MS Power Point |
Prepare a
multimedia presentation using MS Power Point promoting your school.
The presentation must include:
- Design Template
- Title Slide with the author name, date,
subject, etc.
- Table of Contents Slide
- At least one slide per
video
clip
- Balanced use of Text &
Images
- Slide Transitions
