Our Student Life program gives our students the opportunity to explore their passions and experience new activities.

During after-school and off-campus activities, our students participate in various extracurricular activities. These include performing arts groups and ensembles, Destination Imagination, Model United Nations, Knowledge Bowl, MathCounts, Student Government, Community Service, Internships, Summer Camps, and much more to help students discover their talents and be successful in life.

CAG is committed to student growth and providing a quality Extracurricular Club Activities (ECA) program.

This program exists beyond the students' academic school day to enrich our students' athletic, educational, social, and intellectual experiences.

Hornets Camp

¡Dando los primeros pasos en este significativo viaje!

El Campamento de los Hornets está diseñado para apoyar a los niños que ingresan a Pre-Kinder mientras se adaptan a las nuevas rutinas, construyen nuevas amistades y descubren la alegría de aprender.

Este campamento pretende facilitar la transición de los niños a su nueva experiencia en el CAG.

Camp VIDAS

Diviértete, mantente alerta y recupera energías durante el verano

El Campamento VIDAS ofrece a los alumnos de Kinder a grado 8, una variedad de actividades enriquecedoras y atractivas para desarrollar diferentes habilidades y formar relaciones sociales significativas.

Durante tres semanas, los estudiantes:

se sumergen en actividades recreativas y físicas.
exploran formas de expresarse creativamente.
disfrutan del enriquecedor campus del CAG.

Community-Led Service Philosophy

Aligned with CAG's mission, vision, and core values, our Community-Led Service Philosophy is an approach that will be practiced by all students, opting for opportunities to get involved with different community outreach programs that will allow them to make an impact on their country from a young age. Our goal is to provide students with lifelong learning experiences and to empower them to feel capable of generating change as responsible members of a global society.

Community-Led service is an opportunity to build strong bridges- relationships and partnerships- both within the school and the community, and a vehicle for collaboration and creativity. At CAG we seek to make an impact on our students so they can make an impact on the world.

Impacting Guatemala, One Project at a Time

Along with rigorous academic work, CAG students undertake creative pursuits, physical activities and service projects. A great service experience should be both challenging and enjoyable, a journey of self-discovery that takes students out of their comfort zones. One of the main roles of CAG is to have an impact on students so that they impact their community. Partnerships with outreach organizations, help reach this goal. From environmental groups, to supporting animal shelters, there is something for every student no matter their passion.

Through active participation students will

Foster a lifetime commitment to community involvement as an integral part of a meaningful life.
Promote a sense of social responsibility and global citizenship.
Cultivate an awareness of human circumstances and differences that extends beyond the student's typical classroom or home experience.
Motivate reflective, empathic and sensitive personal responses to the needs and experiences of others.
Enrich the learning experience through reciprocal and sustainable partnerships with outside organization, institutions, and/or foundations.

Extracurricular Activities

Actividades extracurriculares (ECA)

El CAG está comprometido con el crecimiento de los estudiantes y con proporcionar un programa de actividades extracurriculares (ECA, por sus siglas en inglés) de calidad. Este programa se lleva a cabo al finalizar la jornada escolar académica de los estudiantes y su objetivo es enriquecer la experiencia atlética, educativa, social e intelectual de nuestros estudiantes mediante el acceso a oportunidades para explorar y desarrollar sus intereses y talentos.

Se anima a los estudiantes a participar en actividades extracurriculares opcionales patrocinadas por el CAG después de la jornada escolar regular. Estas actividades incluyen deportes, actividades artísticas, de liderazgo y grupos de servicio, entre otros.
