Juan joined the CAG family in 2013 as a baseball coach. He began his experience as an instructor in the Dominican Republic 12 years ago. He has taken part in the training of players who are now part of different national teams that have participated on an international level. He's managed teams at a federate level in youth categories obtaining excellent results at national and Central American levels.

Jorge brings extensive professional experience to the CAG baseball program. He has an easy approach to teaching infielders & hitters to utilize their potential. Jorge played 12 years of professional baseball, including six years in Cuba Leagues and on different Guatemalan baseball teams.

Manuel brings to the American School over 40 years of experience and has been part of CAG for 25 years. He has worked with various ages, from the youngest athletes to Guatemalan National League teams. His path as a coach includes different titles on National and International levels. He was the coach of the National Team for the Olympic Cycle from 1990 until 1994.

Fernando brings more than ten years of experience; he has participated in different roles as an athlete and coach earning various national and international awards.

Mishelle has been a basketball player for 15 years and has been coaching for seven years. Point guard for the Guatemalan national team and being called up since she was 16 years old, her passion is to teach young athletes to develop and achieve their full potential.

Wuilliam brings to CAG over 28 years of experience, both as a youth and varsity level coach. He has extensive knowledge in the development and improvement of technical and tactical basis in basketball. He demonstrates excellent leadership capacities and communication abilities in every training session.

Carlos coaches the Varsity Men's Basketball Team at CAG. He has vast experience and knowledge as a basketball coach showing his ability to lead, stimulate, and motivate his players in and out of the court. His career includes the coaching of National teams in both youth and varsity categories. He has obtained 14 National Championships, 12 national scholar championships, and 5 Central American championships.

Marlen has been involved with cheerleading, gymnastics, and tumbling for over 20 years as a coach, choreographer, and athlete. She lead the cheerleading team, Cougars, for eight years, winning two championships in the Magical Tournament of Puerto Vallarta in 2017 and 2018, earning her the International Coach of the Year title. She joined us in 2014 and is a tremendous asset to the CAG program as she has led her teams to great success.

Gerardo has over 24 years of experience. He graduated from the Dramatic Arts School and is a member of the Guatemalan Modern and Folkloric Ballet, where he develops different projects with INGUAT. Gerardo transmits happiness, enthusiasm, and high energy to his team on every training session. He has 26 years of experience as an actor, dancer, and theatrical director and is the current director of Palala Dance.

Professor of Physical Education; Hector possesses a soccer D license in the Guatemalan Soccer Federation, soccer level 3 in the Guatemalan Soccer Federation, and a grassroots football course from the Guatemalan Futsal Federation. He has experience in sports management, sports science, Olympism, training methodology, and pedagogy in formative football.

Gerson has a great enthusiasm for teaching all the technical and tactical aspects that soccer requires. He has more than six years of experience in his field. Gerson played for the Municipal Club, holding the national league champion title twice in U-17 and U-20.

Jennifer's experience as a soccer coach includes the EMEFUT teams, Academia Futsal García, and Baby Juve. As an athlete, she has participated in teams such as USAC, Club ENCEF, Kinesio, and Union Lara of Venezuela, obtaining incredible results such as the CODICADER games championship. Her goal is to advance women's soccer in the youth categories.

Manuel was responsible for massifying the soccer team's in Lower and Middle School, recruiting over 45 student-athletes, and dividing them into four different groups. His goal is to increase the competitive level of his athletes and help them improve each day. His career as a coach includes various championships with CAG teams, obtaining first place in AASCA Soccer 2017.

Lesly has brought over 12 years of professional experience to the American School of Guatemala. She has extensive theoretical and practical knowledge enabling her to teach important skills, which are necessary for swimming. She demonstrates her motivation and leadership with her team every day. Before joining the CAG Team, Lesly started teaching in the Olympic pool in 1993, working with children and young learners of different ages. As a swimmer, she competed nationally from 1990 to 1994.

National swimming federation coach since 1998, participated in Olympic events since 2006, world tournaments, world cups, and Jr world cups. Morgan holds over 21 gold medals in CAMEX and 12 gold medals in CCAN. He has helped two different swimmers qualify for the Olympic games, 14 other athletes qualify to world tournaments, and four additional athletes qualify to Jr Olympic games. Some of his other accomplishments include training medalists in "aguas abiertas" and obtaining 138 national records.

Besides being a track & field coach, Angel is also a CrossFit and functional training coach. With over 15 years of experience, he has participated in several national and international competitions, becoming a Central America champion in 100 x 4 relays. He has participated in numerous trail, cross country, and sprint runs.

Thelma is the Track & Field coordinator. She is the current Central American champion in the long jump category and holds the triple jump record at the Central American level. She seeks to share her knowledge and years of experience in track & field to help student-athletes improve each day.

William brings to CAG over 20 years of experience as a volleyball coach. He coaches the female varsity volleyball team at CAG and has built a strong competitive team. Originally from Cuba, he has worked in different schools and national teams in Guatemala.

Marcio is currently in charge of the youth teams at CAG. He comes with a great passion for teaching, including the technical and tactical aspects required in volleyball. He aims to increase the competitiveness and participation of athletes. He has over 14 years of experience in various Volleyball teams.
